Le Pain Quotidien Bakery Faces Class Action Lawsuit For Misclassifying Managers – Los Angeles Wage & Hour Claims Attorneys Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik

According to the Class Action Complaint, PQ Operations, Inc., a part of the Le Pain Quotidien global restaurant group, misclassified its Assistant Managers as supervisory exempt from overtime pay when in reality Le Pain Quotidien’s Assistant Managers spent most of their work hours performing non-supervisory and non-exempt work tasks, such as providing service to the bakery's customers.  The class action complaint, Harvey, et al. vs. PQ Operations, Inc., Case No. BC497964 is currently pending in the Los Angeles County Superior Court for the State of California.

Le Pain Quotidien has bakery locations in over 20 countries, including the U.S., Spain, Mexico, and Japan.
